The case against a Beaumont man and rapper picked up for kidnapping and human trafficking in September is pending in Louisianan courts. Holly Carter, spokeswoman for the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office, said prosecutors are still reviewing the evidence against Ivory Charles Pantallion III, 33, of Beaumont.

GEORGETOWN: Two women claimed trial at the Sessions Court here to two counts of kidnapping and trafficking a seven-month-old baby girl for the purpose of exploiting her.

Clerk Zuzita Ahmad, 43, and shop assistant Ooi Hooi Ling, 36, were accused of kidnapping the baby from the care of her grandmother at a flat in Lorong Lembah Ria 1, Taman Happy Valley, about 3.30pm on Dec 12.
