”The Florida Police Chief’s are committed to do what it takes to end human trafficking in our state,” said Walter McNeil.

In a new training course, officers will be taught how to spot human trafficking victims.

An Avon Lake woman was charged with two counts of sex trafficking (one involving a minor) in a criminal complaint unsealed last week in U.S. District Court.

Ashley Onysko, 23, along with Jeremy Mack, 37, of Elyria, were charged in the human trafficking case after allegedly forcing a 16-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman to have sex for money, said Stephen D.
