Major, who is a security personnel with the Finland Ministry of Interior Affairs, said they are partnering other law enforcement agencies to check human trafficking by adequately securing the ports. Major observed that the situation in Finland might differ from that of Nigeria due to the country's porous borders, but expressed optimism that the training would boost the human capacity of participants in intelligence gathering and other aspects towards solving the human trafficking menace. Also speaking, the zonal commander of NAPTIP, Sokoto, Mr. Stephen Naduku, said the training will enable them to tackle some of the challenges they are facing.
