Florida Gov. Rick Scott today will sign two human-trafficking bills, allowing victims to ask courts to have human trafficking-related arrests and convictions expunged from their records, and to allow victims up to age 16 to submit an out-of-court statement rather than testify in open court, say the Tampa Bay Times.

A former stripper accused of trafficking teenagers as prostitutes serving a largely gay clientele has been found guilty of all charges in Georgia.

A Douglas County jury Friday convicted Steven Douglas Lemery, 38, on five counts of human trafficking, three counts of aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and pandering by compulsion, the Douglas County Sentinel reports.
